Shillong is a beautiful hill station of North eastern India and better known as Scotland of India, the capital of Meghalaya where B-Girl Sumku has been invited to conduct a one day Breaking workshop  Sumku will also be seating on the judging panel.

                         

B-Girl Sumku Workshop

B-Girl Sumku has more than of 7 years Breaking experience since 2017 Sumku has been teaching Breaking at Quest-The Hip Hop Skool founded by Dance Mafia Crew. Sumku has taken many workshops in different level of Breaking and Quest Skool has already done a workshop tour in northeast India including Shillong, Guwahati and Arunachal Pradesh back in 2018.  Sumku’s workshop is always fun learning and detailed, specially for females and kids.  B-Girl Sumku is looking forward to share her breaking experience as a B-Girl  to all females and kids who want start their Breaking journey, as a girl Sumku has experienced what it takes to learn and understand Breaking the  challenges a girl has to face and this workshop is specially to encourage more females into Shillong Hip hop Scene.

 

 

Breaking Workshop Details:

Workshop is organized by Mo.O.D Fauj and North East India Hip Hop community.

Workshop will take place on 27th of August 2022 at M.O.D Dance Centre, Luchumiere, Shillong, Meghalaya.

Time- 2:30PM – 4:30 PM

North East Cypher The Dance Battle:

After the workshop on 27th August the very next day 28th August will the battle day  at North East Cypher-The Dance by M.O.D Fauj and North East India Hip Hop community. B-Girl Sumku will be on the Judging Panel for Solo Breaking Battle and Solo Kids Open style battle below the age of 14. There will be Hip Hop, popping, Locking and 2 vs2 Rep Style & City battle categories as well. All the categories worth of 50K of cash price also Mementos and Goodies.

 

Itanagar, Arunachal Pradesh, September Tour

Itanagar capital town of Arunachal Pradesh.  Rich with culture and beautuful seight seeing. Dance Mafia Crew’s B-Girl Sumku and B-Boy Show-rez will be touring in Arunachal Pradesh in September’s first week for Breaking workshop and Battles. Yuva Karyashaala a 4 Days Creative event including Breaking battle followed by Workshops.

Yuva Karayashaala is an 4 days Event to encourage North East Youth towards creative field. The events will have FREE workshops of Breaking Dance, Mixed Martial Arts and Painting/Cartoon. In total of 6 Teaching faculty will be sharing their knowledge of their respective field.  Workshop will take place at Gompa, Itanagar

   

B-Boy Show-Rez Breaking(Powermove)Workshop

Show-rez will be giving a Breaking Workshop on 1st of September the first day of Yuva Karayashaala. This workshop will be specially of  Freeze and Powermoves topics. B-Boy Show-rez has more than a decade of experience in Breaking and has been teaching since 2018 at Quest-the Hip hop Skool.

 

 

Breaking Battle

B-Girl Sumku will be on the judging panel along with B-Boy Bunny from Roc Fresh Crew, Mumbai and B-Boy Beast, Firing Shooz Crew, Punjab. There will be one category of Solo Breaking battle.

Battle Venue- Gompa, Itanagar

Date & Time- 4 th September, 2022 – 4 PM Onwards

Battle Fee- 200 INR

Cash Prizes

1st place 20,000 INR

2nd place 10,000 INR

3rd place 5,000 INR
